A Stress-free Thanksgiving with OXO

I am so excited to be partnering with OXO once again, to share some tools to make your upcoming holiday season stress-free!

It’s that time of the year when family and friends come together around the table to give thanks. From baking the perfect pie to setting the kids table, OXO has tips and tools to honor traditions, create new ones, and celebrate the spirit of the holiday all month long.

In preparation for the big day and inspired by Julia Turshen's new cookbook Now & Again, that features go-to recipes, inspired menus and endless ideas for reinventing leftovers, we put our aprons on for a delicious Thanksgiving practice run.

We gathered our ingredients and got right to work prepping each dish, starting with a butternut squash and radicchio salad. Our OXO Swivel Peeler easily peels the tough-skinned fruits and vegetables, and the soft, oversized handle is designed for repetitive strokes making the prep work for the butternut squash quick and stress free. Once peeled and cut into bite sized pieces we seasoned with olive oil and fresh ground salt and pepper. The Chef's squeeze bottles made seasoning evenly a breeze. The Butternut squash would later be added to course chopped radicchio and marinated with a dressing.

Once the butternut squash was prepped we chopped the radicchio and set it all aside before moving on to the stuffing. We typically stick to a tried and true family recipe for our stuffing but wanted to try something new. This pan baked stuffing was amazing and a fan favorite at the dinner table. Filled with fresh onion, sage, parsley, spinach, sausage and sour dough breadcrumbs, it is a repeat for sure.

When it came to the turkey breasts we roasted them on our Traeger grill and it did not disappoint! The Traeger Timberline pellet grill amplified the flavors of the marinade to give us perfectly roasted and tender turkey breasts.

We couldn't be happier with how the entire meal turned out and we are looking forward to cooking this upcoming holiday with some new recipes!
