Individuality

Making a more conscious effort to give each girl their own time has been a goal of mine since we welcomed our sweet Evelyn this past May. It has been a struggle to balance everyone and yet some of my favorite moments of this year were ones spent one-on-one with the girls. Their personalities really get to shine when they are not competing for attention. It's amazing how different they really are as individuals.

I have really enjoyed introducing Ev to some of my favorite children's books recently. At seven months old she is usually the one left out of most of the fun with her sisters. She is always looking around the room and wanting to be with them, doing what they are doing. Reading together has been a nice activity to slow things down with her. This daily activity is giving us even more to bond over and creating that quiet time that each of us needs.
